On December 13, the Umpqua River still had ice and snow along the banks,
but we still saw several fishermen and drift boats.
Unfortunately, I ruined the pictures on the way to the coast
and didn't realize it until we were home.
Below are the pictures from the return trip on December 16
It was rainy and the clouds were hanging in the trees - quite beautiful.
The moss in the trees was incredibly dense and quite eerily beautiful.
By the return trip, the ice and snow had melted.
